FORMER CONVICTS, 2005

Today's society is very individualistic and people are forced to rely upon their own individual strengths and resources more than ever. For former convicts it is especially hard to find work. Even after they've finished their sentences, they feel that their names are permanently stained by their criminal records. The chances of falling back into a life of crime are greatly increased because of this. I was curious about their stories and have tried to approach and photograph them in a personal way.

Photos online soon.
